Don originally wrote this tune as a teenager with his then-girlfriend Heather. At the time he was in a New Wave band that started out being called "The Crayons," until they found out the band name was taken. They changed their name to "Vatican Radio," did one gig, and then split up. But, fortunately, they made a demo recording, which Don found in his garage many years later. Listening to it again, he realized what a cool song this is. Don wrote the music, Heather Erb wrote the lyrics.
